It will be a not easily forgotten experience when you are in the middle of earthy daily life of Balinese people. And the eastern part of Bali will satisfy your curiosity. One of them is watching the process of making salt traditionally.
In the morning we will visit the beach in the fishing village of Kusamba, where you can see the people doing a sea salt extraction process. Then, we will continue to Kastala Bebandem Village, to hike for about 2 to 2.5 hours, starting from the dam near Kastala Bebandem village, and ending at the fascinating Tenganan Village, which is famous for its unique double-rope weaving and basketry. This hike is a walk through beautiful rice fields, continuing along the river and through tropical plantations of coconuts and bananas. Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant before finally visiting Taman Ujung.
