Begin your trip by taking the first flight of the day to Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi province. Meet your assigned guide upon arrival, then it is a scenic drive to reach Toraja with a lunch stop in a local restaurant, Parepare. In Puncak Lakawang, a coffee stop will provide you with an opportunity to sample the world-famous local coffee while basking in the spectacular panoramic landscape. Arrive in Rantepao early in the evening, we will proceed directly to your hotel of choice for an overnight stay with dinner provided.

Toraja Land (B,L,D)
After breakfast in the hotel, you will have a full-day exploration in the Toraja Highlands. Starting the day, you will visit Lemo to see a cliff that displays ancestral sculptures and hanging graves, and Londa, an ancient burial place. You will also visit Kete Kesu, a wonderful Torajan village where we can see ‘Tongkonan’ houses and rice barns with its famously intricate woodcarving. You will also visit Suaya dan Siguntu, and have lunch in Rantepao. We will spend the night at Hotel Toraja.

Toraja - Makassar Airport (B,L)
After breakfast and hotel checkout, your guide will pick you up at the lobby to take you for a short sightseeing in Makassar. Visit the city’s most iconic landmark, Fort Rotterdam, a 17th-century Dutch fort; and La Galigo Museum, which showcases an array of exhibits including sailing boats, traditional musical instruments, and ethnic costumes. We will then drive towards the old port of Paotere, where Bugis sailing ships Phinisi are docked, to observe the daily life at the port. After that, we will drive directly to S ultan Hasanuddin International airport for your return journey with wonderful memories of Toraja Highlands to take back home.
