Day 1
Airport Palopo – Toraja (L,D)
Begin your trip by taking the first flight of the day to Makassar,the capital of South Sulawesi Province. Meet your assignedguide upon arrival, then it is a scenic drive to Toraja with a lunch stop in a local restaurant, Parepare. In Puncak Lakawang, a coffee stop will provide you with an opportunity to sample the world-famous local coffee while basking in the spectacular panoramic landscape. Arrive in Rantepao early in the evening, we will proceed directly to your hotel of choice for an overnight stay with dinner provided.

Day 2
Toraja highlands (B,L,D)
After breakfast at your hotel, you will have a full day exploring Tana Toraja. We will drive through Rantepao, the capital of North Toraja regency, which is known as the center of Toraja ethnic culture. First you will visit Lemo to see rows of Tau Tau statues and hanging graves. Later, we will continue on to discover the secrets of baby trees in Kambira. Onward to Londa with its ancient tombs in which the deceased was not buried, but placed among the rocks. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant near Rantepao. After that we will move to Siguntu, an old Torajan village, offering two rows of old village houses, which is the traditional ancestral houses of the Torajan people called Tongkonan, as well as traditional rice barns. We will then proceed to Suaya, to the graveyard of the Sanggala Kings which lies by the hillsides of Gantarang village. Late In the afternoon, we will go back back to the hotel and have some free time. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 3
Toraja – Palopo - Makassar Airport (B,L)
After breakfast and hotel checkout, you will be escorted back to Palopo Airport to catch the flight to Makassar. In Makassar, another guide is waiting for you upon arrival and will take you on a Makassar city tour to create a lasting memory before your departure. Visit the city’s most iconic landmark, Fort Rotterdam, a well-kept 17th-century Dutch fortress. At the La Galigo Museum you can see a wide array of exhibits including sailing boats, traditional musical instruments, and ethnic costumes. From here we will proceed to the old port of Paotere, famous for the old and new docked wooden Buginese schooner called Phinisi. Brave on and board one of the huge cargo schooners using only a small plank and observe the activities at this old port. Afterwards we will drive you directly to Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport. Check-in for your flight back to Bali or to your return journey. We hope that you will bring wonderful memories of the matchless Toraja Highland’s beauty and its unique culture back home.
