Begin your trip with taking the first flight of the day to Palopo, meet your assigned guide upon arrival, then it is a scenic drive to Toraja with a lunch stop at a local restaurant in Palopo. The drive to Toraja takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Arriving in Rantepao, we will pay an afternoon visit to Bolu Market, which main commodities sold in the market are buffaloes and pigs. After that, we will escort you directly to your hotel of choice for an overnight stay with dinner provided. An overnight at Hotel Toraja. • Dinner at Hotel Toraja.

Day 2
Toraja Land (B,L,D)
The capital of North Toraja Regency, Rantepao, is known as the cultural center of Torajan ethnic group with noteworthy buildings built using traditional elements of the Torajan culture and its traditional curved roof. After breakfast, we will pick you up at the hotel lobby for an excursion to discover the spirit of the land and the culture of Toraja. We will drive to Lemo to observe a cliff that displays ancestral sculptures and hanging graves. We will then continue to Londa for its ancient burial place and proceed to Kete Kesu village to admire the ‘Tongkonan’, traditional Torajan houses, and local woodcarving workshops. We will also visit Suaya and Siguntu, and have lunch in Rantepao. We will have an overnight stay at the Hotel Toraja. Lunch is provided at a local restaurant. We will take you to your hotel in the afternoon, and dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 3
Toraja Land (B,L,D)
After a breakfast at the hotel, we will visit Batutumonga to enjoy superb views over Rantepao and its surrounding valleys. We will then visit Pallawa, a village on a small hill with more ‘Tongkonan’ houses, rice barns, and granaries. We will proceed to Sa’dan, the weaving center. Lunch is served at a local restaurant in Rantepao. We will also visit Bori, Marante, and end the tour in Nanggala. Finally, we will spend the night at Hotel Toraja.

Day 4
Toraja - Palopo Airport - Makassar (B,L)
After breakfast and hotel checkout, your guide will pick you up at the lobby to escort you to Palopo Airport to catch the flight to Makassar, taking a short sightseeing in the city beforehand. Visit the city’s most iconic landmark, Fort Rotterdam, a 17th-century Dutch fort; and La Galigo Museum, which showcases an array of exhibits including sailing boats, traditional musical instruments, and ethnic costumes. We will then drive towards the old port of Paotere, where Bugis sailing ships Phinisi are docked, to observe the daily life at the port. After that, we will drive directly to Sultan Hasanuddin International airport for your return journey with wonderful memories of Toraja Highlands to take back home.
