Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, the Coordinating Minister of the Ministry of Marine Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Agus Martowardojo reviewed the readiness of Banyuwangi Regency as one of the tourist destinations for IMF-World Bank Group Annual Meetings 2018 (AM2018).
In her visit, Minister Sri Mulyani told her story hiking Mount Ijen as one of the tourist destinations in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java.
"We are here at Ijen mountain, it has an amazing and spectacular view. It took almost 2,5 hours to come here. Hiking a very tough and challenging path going up to the mountain. But you’re not going to regret it. What a spectacular view. To all of you who’s coming to Indonesia, it’s only 15 minutes from Bali by plane. It’s located in Banyuwangi, East Java, " said The minister on Friday (02/03).
Minister of Finance also said that she is looking forward for the participants' visit. So they will be able to enjoy the spectacular view from Mount Ijen themselves.
"Ijen is one of the most beautiful tourism destination in Indonesia. I look forward to see you here soon! Let's come to Ijen and enjoy the spectacular view of this mountain, " she concluded.
